Brooke Allison is an oil and pastel painter working with the figure and still life.
Her still life pastel paintings have been exhibited across the nation with 13 shows
in competitions in New York City. She was awarded First Place in 2000 at the
Catharine L. Wolfe Art Club Exhibition at the Broome Street Gallery in NYC.
She is the recipient of many Awards of Excellence. Articles on her work in pastel
have appeared in the Artist's Magazine, and The Pastel Journal. An article with
Al Lachman appears in the June 2005 issue of the Pastel Journal.
Brooke is a signature (professional) member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast, The Pastel Society of America and the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club in NYC. She is in the Raymond James Collection and the Walt Disney Corp. collection. Her figurative paintings in oil have been exhibited at the Jacksonville Museum of Art, the Tampa Museum and The Arts Center in St. Petersburg, Fl. And the Dunedin Fine Art Center, Dunedin, Fl. She is a member of the Florida Artist's Group. Brooke teaches national workshops in pastel painting and teaches at the Dunedin Fine Art Center in Dunedin, Fl. where she also paints and lives.
