The hills of Northern Georgia have some beautiful parks, one of which is Amicalola State Park. The upper most portion of the falls lies about two kilometers south of the beginning of the Appalachian Trail and drops nearly 700 feet. I was intrigued by the sunlight filtering through the trees on to the sparkling water as it make its way down the mountain side.
