| Executed as a workshop demonstration, this pastel started with my value sketch, then was done as an underpainting with plum Nu-Pastel and mineral spirits on Art Spectrum paper. After a lite coat of workable fixative, I gradually tightened the details in complementary hues with hard pastels, ending in Artworks, Terry Ludwig, Sennelier and Unison soft pastels. |
