Annual Open Media Exhibition at Perkins Center for the Arts

Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown, NJ announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, October 7 - November 26 2017. $1,100 in awards. Juror: Robert Blackson, Director of Exhibitions and Programs at Temple Tyler School of Art. Artists 18 years or older are invited to submit a maximum of three works that have been created within the past three years. The exhibition is open to all mediums except photography and sculpture. American Collective: Contemporary Reflections on Landscape & Identity

Stitches and Pics: Art Gallery & Studio in Sackets Harbor, NY announces a call to artists for a juried photographic exhibition, November 3 - December 13, 2017. Juror: Eliot Dudik. Accepting entries from artists working in the US within any photographic medium/process. 2D/hanging work as well as 3D is acceptable as long as it includes some sort of photographic element. We are seeking images that explore the relationship between landscape and identity. We are interested in showcasing artwork that pushes the boundaries of what is defined as "landscape" and portrays the diversity of the American people and its geography. International Encaustic Artists seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, November 28-December 16, 2017 at Atlantic Gallery in New York, NY. Juror: Ingrid Dinter. Both 2D and 3D art will be considered including painting, prints, mixed media, sculpture and artists books made with encaustic or cold wax media and techniques. Encaustic or cold wax must be the primary media. Work no larger than 18 inches in any direction may be submitted. The gallery can accommodate hanging works that are wired and ready for hanging, and can provide pedestals for sculptural work. $45 entry fee; IEA members may enter for a fee of $25. Surrender to Small: Small Works Juried Art Show

Volition Gallery in Orangeburge, New York seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, November 12, 2017 - January 5, 2018. Juror: Phyllis Dodge. Open to all artists in NY, NJ and CT. This year the Ridgefield Guild of Artists offers a special opportunity for a small group show, April 21 to May 6, 2018 in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Five artists, as selected by our juror (Judith Tolnick Champa), will share the entire downstairs gallery. Two artists will go in the front gallery, one in the middle and two in the third, thus the 2-1-2 title of the exhibition. There is neither a limit on size nor media. The Penn State Abington Art Gallery announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, January 15 - March 2, 2018 in Abington, PA. Jurors: H. John Thompson, Art Gallery Director and Lecturer of Art, Penn State Abington College; Daniel Oliva Lecturer of Art, Penn State Abington College; Salar Ghahramani J.D., Assistant Professor of Business Law and International Law & Policy, Penn State Abington College. This exhibition is open to all artists working in the theme of US immigration from contemporary personal experience. The contemporary experience as defined by this exhibition includes work that discusses themes, concepts, and events that have occurred within the past 30 years. All media will be considered. 13th Annual Small Works Show

440 Gallery in Brooklyn, NY announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, December 7, 2017 - January 7, 2018. Juror's Choice, People's Choice, 440 Gallery Choice - cash prizes for each award. Juror: Angel Bellaran. Open to artists who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry and who have a US shipping address. Work must be no more than 12 inches in any direction including the framing or mounting, or video monitors. The artwork may represent any subject matter. All media - including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, sculpture in any medium, collage, printmaking, photography and digital media - will be considered. Watercolor and Aqueous Media Juried Exhibition

The Delaware Watercolor Society announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, Nov. 3, 2017 to Jan. 21, 2018 at Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover, Delaware. Monetary awards totaling $600 and 4 non-monetary Merit Awards. Juror: Mick McAndrews, PWS, BWS, PWCS. Artists must be 18 yrs or older and a resident of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland or Delaware. Artists may submit up to two (2) original works created in the last three years in any water-based media, except water-based oils. Works may be executed on paper, Yupo, canvas, Aquabord or Claybord. Image size may be no less than 8 inches in either direction. Framed size may be no greater than 40 inches in either direction and weigh no more than 30lbs. Gallery wrapped paintings must have a minimum side depth of 1 and 1/2 inches. Framed entries must be framed meeting professional standards and wired on back to accommodate installation.
