The Beverly Hills Art Show

Fine artists are invited to apply to the autumn edition of The Beverly Hills Art Show, held October 21 & 22, 2017 in Beverly Hills, CA. $5,000 distributed among various awards: First Place in category, Most Original Work, Best of Show, Best Art Display. The show, now 45 years old, brings art enthusiasts from all over Southern California and beyond to four historic garden blocks, attracting 40,000 art lovers from the west side of Los Angeles and adjacent areas, along with regional art dealers, guests from all the area hotels, and even out-of-state patrons who come specifically for this event. It is consistently highly rated by the major national publications that review outdoor art events across the country. We are particularly seeking artists for a special feature called "Ghostly": art that addresses the ethereal, the departed, and all things past that seem to linger in the present. The following categories of art are acceptable: Painting, Sculpture, Mixed Media 3D, Mixed Media 2D, Traditional Drawing and Printmaking, Photography, Ceramics, Glass, Installation/Performance - work submitted must be less than 5 years old. $35 application fee. "Fluid": Call For Entries

The Four Barrel Art Department is happy to announce a juried art exhibition based on the theme 'Fluid'. We seek to fill our cafe gallery at Four Barrel Coffee in San Francisco, California with artwork based around the fluidity of paints and inks, and any related interpretation of this concept. Free flowing acrylic, ink, and resin are the materials that first come to mind, but artists may submit work made with any mediums that deal with fluidity, with the exception of free standing sculpture. We are primarily looking for nonrepresentational abstraction, but again are open to surprises. Artwork must be able to be hung on a wall, and we will choose work in a variety of sizes. Open Call for Works Exploring Race & Identity

The LH Horton Jr Gallery at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA seeks entries for a group exhibition of 10 to 12 artists, February 22 - March 16, 2018.
