"Super Realism"

"High School Portfolio Preparation: Painting"
Saturdays, February 3 - April 7, 2018
 

Add color and variety to your portfolio by developing your painting skills in oil or acrylic. Students will work from direct observation using the still life and human figure/portrait models to explore the fundamentals of painting, including the selection and care of materials, painting techniques, and color mixing. Instruction will emphasize principles of composition, the modeling of forms through values, and color relationships. Note: This class will utilize nude models. Saturday classes offer teens a valuable opportunity to develop and hone their skills under the guidance of PAFA faculty. Portfolio Preparation classes include a visit by PAFA Admissions representatives to provide advice on selecting and documenting work for a portfolio and an optional portfolio review. "The Extended Pose"

"Mindful Meditation Painting"
