"Online: Color Fusion Master Class"
May 4, 2024

"Color Fusion: Mastering Color Mixing on Paper" First in the Series of Three One-Day Master Classes on "Painting Old Towns: Mastering Watercolor Techniques". Often, I've noticed an excess of gray and muddled hues on my palette, and when these overmixed paints transfer to the watercolor paper, it can lead to undesirable results. To address this issue, I deliberately blend my colors directly on the paper to avoid these outcomes.

"Mastering The Use of Color and Contrast" Second in the Series of Three One-Day Master Classes on "Painting Old Towns: Mastering Watercolor Techniques". The impact of a painting on its viewer often hinges on well-defined focal areas, which immediately capture attention. These areas convey the artist's narrative or highlight significant objects that caught the artist's eye.

"Online: Calligraphy & Drybrush Master Class"
May 18, 2024

"Mastering Calligraphy & Drybrush Techniques" Third in the Series of Three One-Day Master Classes on "Painting Old Towns: Mastering Watercolor Techniques". In my in-person workshops, I've observed that many students struggle to complete their paintings to their satisfaction, which can lead to frustration. One critical factor often overlooked is the importance of adding finishing touches to the artwork.

"Fine Art Mentorship"
ongoing

As an instructor, it is my sincere desire to help guide aspiring painters to find better ways to trust, develop, and listen to their artistic voice. This is not done by providing answers so much as in helping artists to ask the right questions. When we begin to grasp this and ask ourselves these fundamental questions, we are well on our way to making significant strides. The curriculum presents a comprehensive and sequential education of watercolor techniques while inspiring the development of your own unique style. The program has rolling admission; you can join anytime and start from the beginning of the curriculum. Each month you will progress through a new 4-8 hour video series while honing your style & technique.
