The Studio Door in San Diego, CA seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, July 2 - Aug 3, 2024. 3 works will receive a Juror's Award certificate and a check for $100. Juror: Michael Swank, Director of Exhibition and Residency at Art Gallery Studios (Mexico City, Mexico). Painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, assemblage, collage, mixed media, fiber art, artist book, and sculpture are eligible. Oversized jewelry that can be defined as fine art is also acceptable. Glass, stain glass, ceramics and stoneware are only accepted if hand-delivered. Video, film, installation and works requiring an external electrical source require gallery approval. If you want to be considered, please contact us before entering. No performance art. The Sanchez Art Center (SAC) in Pacifica, CA seeks California artists (18 and older) for its 16th annual 50|50 Show, which takes place September 6 - October 6, 2024. This is a 2-day art, wine, and music festival, held June 8 & 9 at BackRoad Vines in Fairfield, California.
