I think of my photography as "what is". I see a scene that has something special about it, a uniqueness or beauty that asks to be captured and shared. I can feel when a picture is right, and it translates well to the film.
I see my paintings as "what could be". They are my interpretations of images I have dreamed, imagined or seen.
Although not always apparent, my paintings are influenced by my favorite artists Van Gogh and R. C. Gorman.
