6th Annual Square Foot Show

The Bismarck Art & Galleries Association (BAGA) seeks entries for the 6th Annual Square Foot Show, August 1-25, 2017 in Bismarck, North Dakota. The show is open to all artists 18 years old or older. All artwork must be completed on the 12"x12" canvas provided by BAGA (Canvases are mailed when entry fee is received). Artwork must be signed with name printed clearly on the back. Canvases cannot be altered in size or shape and must be painted on a square grid, not angled. Artwork must be wired for hanging, no saw tooth hangers. All edges of the canvas must be painted. Artwork will be for sale at $130 each (taxes not included.) BAGA takes 30% commission. Indiana Wildlife Artists 34th Annual Exhibit

Indiana Wildlife Artists announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, August 27 - September 28, 2017 at Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian Street in Indianapolis, IN. $75 for 1st, $50 for 2nd and $25 for 3rd. Open to artists who reside in the United States and whose work shows a serious approach to wildlife art and depicts one or more species in a manner which captures the essence of the subject. All subjects - zoological and/or botanical, must be wild - no domestic animals or plants will be accepted - nor man- made objects, unless found in the subject's natural habitat. Entries submitted may not have appeared in previous IWA exhibits. All artwork must be delivered and picked up in person. No fee for current members.
