Academy Center of the Arts Annual National Art Exhibition

The Academy Center of the Arts in Lynchburg, VA announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, April 7-29, 2017. Over $3000 in Cash Awards, Best in Show Award of $1000. Juror: Lauren Rice, Assistant Professor of Art, Longwood University. Open to U.S. residents, 18 years or older, working in the following disciplines: painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, fiber, glass, ceramics, wood, metal and mixed media. Focus Annual Photography Exhibit

The Gadsden Museum of Art in Gadsden, AL seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, April 14 - May 29, 2017. Solo Show Opportunity at Washington, DC Gallery

Foundry Gallery, one of Washington, DC's premier contemporary galleries, will host a guest solo exhibit for the month of August 2017. Foundry Gallery is located in the revitalized North End Shaw neighborhood in an industrial style space on the ground floor of the Atlantic Plumbing Building. Foundry Gallery is welcoming proposals for this juried exhibition to be held in its solo show gallery featuring 65 feet of running wall space with significant street-front exposure (diagram included with the prospectus). 46th Annual Waynesboro Fall Foliage Art Show

The Shenandoah Valley Art Center seeks artists for an outdoor juried fine art exhibition, October 14-15, 2017 on the streets of historic downtown Waynesboro, Virginia. $10,000 in awards. Juror: piper e brown. We are seeking artists in the following media: Oil and Acrylic Painting, Watermedia, Photography, Graphics Drawing and Printmaking, 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Wood, Glass, Pottery, Sculpture, Jewelry. All work must be original, made by hand, and designed and executed by the accepted artist. Artists must be present with their work for the entire two days of the art show. Artists may only show work in categories and body of work selected by the Jury. 'Reflections in Pastel' Arkansas Pastel Society 7th National Competition

The Arkansas Pastel Society announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, November 10, 2017 -February 24, 2018 at Butler Center Gallery in Little Rock, Arkansas. Over $2500 in awards, including $1000 grand prize. Juror: Christine Ivers. Open to all artists at least 18 years old. Entries must be at least 80% soft or oil pastel. Entries must be original, unpublished and executed within the last three years. Paintings that have won an award at a national level exhibition are not eligible. Works produced in a class, workshop, or under another artist's supervision are not eligible. Images from Internet or copyrighted materials may not be used as source. Sugarloaf Craft Festivals is seeking artists for its Fall juried art festivals: October 13-15 in Timonium, MD; October 20-22 in Gaithersburg, MD; October 27-29 in Somerset, NJ; November 3-5 in Oaks, PA; November 17-19 in Gaithersburg, MD; December 8-10 in Chantilly, VA.
