Public Art Opportunity: New Orange County Park, Christmas, Florida

The Orange County Public Art Review Board seeks an artist or artist team(s) to develop artwork for a new park near the historic rural community of Christmas, Florida, located adjacent to a nature reserve. $35,000 budget. The values of nature, history, community and non-urban lifestyle should inform the art. East Orange District Park is located on 14 acres with single entry drive off U.S. Highway 50. The $3.6 million project will have a community center with a room for community meetings, summer camps, weddings and so forth. 2018 Solo and Group Exhibitions

The The Rehoboth Art League (RAL) is a member-based, non-profit arts center, located in the resort town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware - a highly traveled area not only by the residents of this and the expanding surrounding communities, but also by art patrons from the Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York metropolitan areas. Over 29,000 people participate in Rehoboth Art League programs annually. Each year the RAL offers member and non-member group and solo shows, which are displayed in one of several gallery spaces. The Exhibitions Committee is in the process of organizing solo and group exhibitions for 2018. This is a very competitive program, as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Become Part of the 36th Smithsonian Craft Show!

The Smithsonian Craft Show held April 25-29, 2018 in Washington, DC is committed to presenting the most thoughtful, original, and skilled American craft and design objects. The Craft Show is looking for artists who produce one-of-a-kind and limited edition objects that have been conceived and perfected by the artist's own hands and created in the artist's studio. All work submitted to the Smithsonian Craft Show must be created and made in the United States. One hundred-twenty premier artists representing all facets of contemporary design and craft will be selected from a large pool artists nationwide.
