Students will decoupage dried flowers over glass vases. Students will have the option to pick out a color palette from blue and yellow flowers. A mix of colors will be offered. The result is a beautiful, personally crafted art expression on glass. Great for gift giving! All supplies except for the bottle are included in the price of tuition. Students can bring their own glass bottle or vase that is 90% smooth. (Some raised letters and symbols are permissible.) Or students may purchase a bottle from the instructor for $5.

Make a mini mosaic pendant using beads, glass, charms, and various other materials. All the mosaic bits go into a bezel pendant with a fast-drying epoxy that serves as the glue and grout. Participants can wear their beautiful pendant as soon as it's made!

This mosaics workshop includes all materials. Students will hear a brief history of mosaics and see examples of ancient and contemporary mosaics. The instructor will give guidance on planning an 8 x 8 inch mosaic and provide instruction on the use of mosaic tools. Students will use tools to cut several different kinds of materials and practice placement of the mosaic pieces to create a unique mosaic work of art. The instructor will provide a grout demonstration to facilitate home grouting.
