New Beginning; Upstream Gallery Small Works 2022

Sometimes we all need a fresh start; a chance to change our personal circumstances and our world, to begin again. It is a search for optimism in a tough time. Upstream Gallery invites artists to submit small works interpreting the concept of New Beginning for a national juried exhibit to be held at Upstream Gallery, a well-known, beautiful venue only 20 minutes from Manhattan in Hastings on Hudson NY. The exhibit will hang January 6-30, 2022. All media and styles are welcome including drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, photography, digital and sculpture. West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Paducah School of Art and Design (PSAD) is presenting its International Juried Print Biennial in PSAD's Bill Ford Galley within PSAD's 2D and Graphic Design Building, March 3 - April 14, 2022. $1,000 Grand Prize, $500 Second Place, $250 Third Place. The juror is Aaron Coleman, noted printmaker and assistant professor of art at the University of Arizona. The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts in San Angelo, TX announces a call to artists for the 24th San Angelo National Ceramic Competition, held April 8 - June 26, 2022. Alchemy6

The Enamelist Society seeks entries for Alchemy6, a juried enamel exhibition. Alchemy6 is the 18th Biennial International Juried Enamel Exhibition and 14th International Juried Student Enamel Exhibition and will be installed at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts during The Enamelist Society's Biennial Conference in August 2022. This exhibition will travel to other venues, ending at the Ohio Craft Museum through April 2023. Works are required to remain a part of the exhibition until its conclusion. The Exhibitions highlight the best in contemporary enamels produced in the last 2 years, showcasing the work of enamelists that demonstrate aesthetic and technical expertise. Students must be enrolled in accredited degree programs throughout the world. Jan Smith, Ana Lopez, and Amy Roper Lyons are the jurors for this exhibition. Monetary awards will be given to the overall winner, first and second place in each category (jewelry, sculpture/vessel, and wall work), and student winners. The Red River Watercolor Society announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, June 16 - August 20, 2022 at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, ND. $5,000+ in awards and merchandise. Juror: Michael Holter NWS, OPS, SWS, SWA. Open to all artists 18-years of age and older, working in two-dimensional water media on a single piece of watercolor paper or yupo. Original work only.
