The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) encourages all professional public artists and design professionals within the U.S., 21 years of age old or older, to submit their qualifications for site-specific public art commissions. The anticipated public art commission for each site will range from $15,000 to $150,000. Preference may be given to applicants located within the Greater Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia area. Artists must demonstrate experience with successfully executed public art projects, unless applying as part of an artist-team under the direction of an experienced lead artist.
