Victor Celebrates the Arts
Plein Air artists from around the country are invited to paint on location in the City of Victor, CO during the 26th anniversary of Victor Celebrates the Arts. Professional and Emerging artists participate in painting various scenes in and around our historic town and many nearby legendary 1890s gold mining sites. All paintings must be painted en plein air - on site, directly from life - within a 10-mile radius of Victor City Hall during the week before the show and sale. $4,000+ will be awarded. Our show is judged by an established and respected professional artist, and original works produced for the show will be available for sale in the gallery at the Victor Elks Lodge, September 4-7, 2026. $50 registration fee. 2026 Main Street Gallery Fine Art Show & Sale
Main Street Gallery invites you to enter the 2026 Fine Art Show across from the beautiful Founders Plaza in Historic Downtown Brighton, Colorado. The exhibit runs October 9-28, 2026. $2,500 in awards. Juror: Dan Oakleaf. Artist must be 18 years or older. Artwork categories include Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Mixed Media, Pastel/Drawing & Scratchboard. Artwork must be original in both concept and execution, appropriate for all audiences in a general public venue. Copies, kits, work done in class, crafts, jewelry, fiber, photography, video, digital prints or AI generated works will not be accepted. Palm Springs Preferred Small Hotels announces a call to artists for a Photography Residency at Palm Springs Boutique Hotels in Palm Springs, CA. 3 sessions: Nov 2026; Dec 2026, Jan 2027. $250 weekly stipend; mileage/transportation to and from Palm Springs; "Best of Residency" awardee receives a $500 honorarium. The residency welcomes Southern California photographers (must reside in a Southern CA County) working in a broad range of styles and mediums, including Architectural photography, Documentary and reportage photography, Historical photography, Fine art photography, Experimental photography, Multimedia and hybrid work, Digital and AI-assisted visual practices. LACDA 2026 International Juried Competition
The Los Angeles Center for Digital Art invites entries for a juried art & photography exhibition, September 3-26, 2026. The selected winner receives 10 prints up to 44x60 inches on museum quality paper (approximately a $2500-$3000 value) to be shown in a solo exhibition in our main gallery. The show will be widely promoted and will include a reception for the artist. Juror: Rex Bruce. Special consideration will be given to all entrants for inclusion in future shows at LACDA. Many entrants from past competitions have already been included in our group and solo exhibits. All styles of artwork and photography where digital processes of any kind were integral to the creation of the images are acceptable. Entrants submit three JPEG files of original work for $25. The call to artists is open now for the Fiber & Flair Wearable Art Market, February 6-7, 2027 at the beautiful National Nordic Museum in Seattle, WA. Included are a wine garden, special exhibits and demos, customer giveaways and 2 People's Choice awards for favorite artist booths ($250 each). Au Naturel: the Nude in the 21st Century
Clatsop Community College in Astoria, OR seeks entries for a juried exhibition, January 21 - March 11, 2027. $1000 in cash prizes. Up to $2000 in purchase awards.
