Rockies West National Watercolor Exhibition

The Western Colorado Watercolor Society seeks entries for a juried exhibition, March 1 - April 7, 2023 at The Art Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. Best of Show $1,000, Best of Colorado $500, First Place $700, Second Place $500, Third Place $300, Numerous Other Awards. Juror: Betty Carr. Open to artists 18 years of age and older. The paintings must be on paper and limited to water media having the appearance of watercolor. Transparent watercolor, gouache, ink and acrylic is acceptable if it has the appearance of traditional watercolor. No shiny varnished work. Paintings must be original painted by the artist, no class work, completed within 3 years and signed by the artist. Yupo or unstretched canvas is acceptable but must be matted and framed under plexiglass or glass. Collage must be on paper and must be white or painted by the artist. 2nd Annual Miniatures Exhibition

Tribe Artist Collective LLC in Tetonia, ID (near Jackson Hole, WY) seeks entries for a miniature art exhibition, Dec 16, 2022 - Jan 13, 2023. People's Choice Awards: 1st Place $150, 2nd Place $100, 3rd Place $75. Juror: Michele Walters. All art must be original. Judging will be done on original artwork only. Open to all artists across the country. Art may be in any media. Works must be properly framed with a secure hanging fixture (no saw tooth hangers). For purposes of this show, miniature means artwork that is no more than 3 1/2 inches deep, front to back. Outside dimensions of frame cannot exceed 42 sq. inches (outer edge of frame length x height). Sculptures should have no dimension greater than 6 inches including the base. $25 entry fee. Climate Changing

Las Laguna Gallery seeks entries for this in-gallery and online exhibition. The gallery is seeking works that explore subjects related to climate change. Works for this show can explore the various solutions or problems with the current issues of climate. Ideally the works could convey an idea that climate action is urgent and attainable. The goal of this exhibition is to engage, encourage and inspire individuals and businesses to act. Note: All artists who submit to this show will be accepted and have at least one of their submitted works posted and promoted on our website and to our client list. Global Art Project

Lift the Sky is a project designed to create community, and inspire thought and action. Artworks created as messages for the world powered by the desire to offer visions of hope about what the world can be. The first installation will be an exhibition at Front Porch Gallery in Carlsbad, CA in January 2023. Artists working in painting, fiber, photography, collage, mixed media, etc. are invited to participate by creating an artwork responding to the question, "what's your message to the world?". Artists will create an 18" wide x 24" long, vertical artwork on unstretched canvas, other fabric, or paper to be attached to muslin. Individual "messages" are shown on the website with a link to the artist's website. "Messages" are curated three to a 6' hanging panel. Join us and bring your voice to the world. Free to participate.
