46th Annual Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition

Center for the Arts Evergreen seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, September 13 - October 26, 2019 in Evergreen, Colorado. In 2018, awards totaled over $10,000 in cash and merchandise. Juror: Sterling Edwards. Open to all artists residing in the United States. Each artist may enter up to 3 finished original paintings for consideration. Accepted artists will have only 1 original painting "hanging" in the exhibition. Paintings on boards, panels, or watercolor canvas that are not framed must have finished (non-raw) edges and be gallery-quality exhibition ready. Wasatch Plein Air Paradise 2019

The Midway Art Association (MAA) is pleased to announce the 14th annual Wasatch Plein Air Paradise (WPAP) painting competition and exhibition, held June 22 - July 4, 2019 at the Midway Town Hall (Midway, Utah). Wasatch Plein Air Paradise is the largest painting event in Utah with over 100 artists of all levels from Utah and surrounding areas competing for over $15,000 in cash and purchase awards. This signature event of the Midway Art Association is the main fundraiser for our non-profit group, which provides art education, demonstrations, competitions and scholarships for deserving students. Kellogg University Art Gallery of CalPoly University in Pomona, CA seeks entries for Ink & Clay, August 22 - November 21, 2019. $6,500 in Monetary Awards, plus various Honorable Mentions. Jurors: Kimiko Miyoshi, Printmaking/Ink Juror, Susan Elizalde-Henson, Ceramics/Clay Juror, and Juri Koll, Curatorial Juror. This is an annual juried competition of printmaking, ink drawing, ceramic ware, clay sculpture, mixed media and installation, utilizing any variety of "ink" or "clay" (or combination). The exhibition is documented through an on-line printable catalog. Unique among juried exhibitions, Ink & Clay is annually celebrated and recognized by artists and collectors for its quality and diversity. Any artist living or working in the United States may enter. Artwork must have been completed within the last 3 years (2017-2019) and cannot have been submitted in a prior year. Any artwork utilizing any type of ink or clay, in whole, or in part, is acceptable. Artworks must be original - no giclée prints, reproductions, or solely digitally-based prints. Call for Artists to Illuminate Taos Water Networks

The PASEO 2019 Water/Culture call is seeking artists to bring visibility to Northern New Mexico's water culture and issues. Working with artists we wish to create more inclusive and imaginative planning processes, while seeking to provide benefits to the community through artistic installations and designs and educational opportunities. We are seeking proposals for installations to creatively expand public knowledge and appreciation of the acequia networks downtown. Selected art activations will vary in media, scale and programming. Stipends up to $5,000. The goal is to highlight the acequia network for the benefit of the local community and wider audience of visitors traversing the downtown. These installations will be featured at the PASEO 2019 festival, September 13th and 14th, with the opportunity for pre and post installation capacities. Summerlin Festival of Arts

Artists are invited to apply for the Summerlin Festival of Arts, held October 12 and 13, 2019 on a grassy park-like area in beautiful Downtown Summerlin. In the affluent Summerlin area of Las Vegas, the established outdoor festival (2019 is the 24th year) features the works of more than 100 fine artists and craftspeople. The event's focus is to support fine artists and artisans, drawing more than 40,000 visitors over the two-day art celebration. The event is free and open to the public. Museum of Exploration and Innovation 2020

MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation opened in Santa Barbara, CA in early 2017. In its first year it welcomed over 175,000 visitors. MOXI's mission is to ignite learning through interactive experiences in science and creativity. The museum has garnered numerous accolades, including being listed by Fodor's Travel as one of the top 10 new museums in the world. MOXI's three floors are filled with interactive and hands-on exhibits and experiences. MOXI believes in the importance of art and creativity, and supporting that belief, has dedicated two museum spaces to rotating 3-month interactive media artworks. These spaces are the Interactive Media Theater and the Bridge. Artists and art collectives are invited to propose works for the year 2020. For reference, recent artworks have incorporated elements such as Kinect-based body interaction; camera-based interaction, virtual reality and augmented reality. Exhibits must be designed to be highly durable and robust to any kind of interaction from adults and children, including climbing, hanging, pushing and pulling. Up to eight qualified applications will be chosen, and those artists will be offered $200 each to develop a more detailed exhibit proposal. Artists are asked to submit a 3 paragraph exhibit proposal summary for either one or two exhibits. The summary can include up to two embedded images in the PDF, and should also included an estimated total budget. Budgets can be up to $10,000. $25 application fee. Deadline: June 15, 2019. Fish and Wildlife Conservation Art Contest and Show

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife would like to invite artists to participate in our annual Fish and Wildlife Conservation Art Contest. The winning artists will receive a $2,000 award, and the winning artwork will be featured on collector's stamps, art prints, and other merchandise (e.g., wine label). The department will organize an art show in November where all entries will be viewed by the public. Artist name and contact information will be displayed for all artists that are interested. All ages and skill levels welcome, and there is no entry fee. All entries, except the winning artwork, will be mailed back to the artist. The Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamp Program supports conservation of priority fish and wildlife species of concern in Oregon.
