23rd Bethesda Row Arts Festival

Join us this October 10-11 for one of the region's most exciting and esteemed outdoor festivals. Overnight, Bethesda Row's Arts and Entertainment District in Bethesda, MD is transformed into an outdoor art gallery, featuring more than 200 juried fine arts and crafts from artists around the nation. Cash awards totaling $5,300. "Art Fair Sourcebook" and "Sunshine Artists" have recognized the event as one the most important in the country, and over 35,000 attendees agree! $50 application fee. Harford Plein Air Painting Festival

The Maryland Center for the Arts announces a call to artists for the Harford Plein Air Painting Festival. Awards Judge: Cynthia Rosen. Entry Juror: Ray Hassard. Artists will paint at several locations throughout Harford County, waterfront, nature parks, historic churches/towns, farms, and more. The Collectors' Preview, Awards Ceremony, and Public Gallery Sale will be held at Bel Air Armory (Bel Air, MD), Sept 18-19. Quick Draw Competition on Sept 19. GSWS Small but Mighty A Small Works Exhibition

The Garden State Watercolor Society announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, June 28 - August 30, 2020 at Farmstead Arts Center in Basking Ridge, NJ. Best in Show $200; 1st Place $150; 2nd Place $100; 3rd Place $50. Juror: Gary Godbee. Open to all GSWS members 18 years and over that are NJ, NY, PA or DE residents. Traditional water media based paintings will be accepted. Each artist may submit up to two works. Frame size not to exceed 14" on any side. All artwork must be physically delivered and picked-up on designated dates. Artwork juried for awards only. All artwork must be labeled (provided in prospectus), wired and ready for hanging. Exquisite Copse

Philadelphia Sculptors is seeking artists for "Exquisite Copse", a temporary, outdoor exhibition of sculptures that will be a part of the upcoming Da Vinci Fest, sponsored by the Da Vinci Art Alliance. $100 for each accepted artist. A play on the Surrealists' game "Exquisite Corpse," "Exquisite Copse" requires artists to create fanciful and imaginative sculptures that will be positioned in groups of three, and connected to each other in creative ways. The show will take place in Palumbo Park, a small community park adjacent to Fleisher Art Memorial across the street from the Da Vinci Art Alliance in Philadelphia from October 4 - November 6, 2020. The sculptures will be in the spirit of Da Vinci and of some of the remarkable artists who came after him. The RAA&M National 2020 Art Show

Rockport Art Association & Museum announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, December 5-31, 2020 at the Rockport Art Association & Museum in Rockport, Massachusetts. Over $5,000 in Prizes! Jurors: Cindy House for the category of Traditional art, and Professor Bruce Herman, Gordon College, in the category of Contemporary art. Submissions are limited to 3 artworks per artist in the following media: drawing, mixed media, collage, photography, painting, digital art and sculpture. Maximum size is 40 x 60 inches including the frame. All works on paper must be matted, framed and covered with glass or Plexiglas. Frames must be in good condition. Entries must be dry, properly prepared for exhibition and properly wired for hanging. The wire and eye screws must not show when the artwork is hung.
