Handmade Arcade is a juried, curated marketplace that will be held both online and at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, December 4 & 5, 2020. Inspired By: Iconic Images Re-Imagined

The Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons, MD announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, October 9, 2020 - January 24, 2021. Cash awards to be presented. Juror: TBD to be announced; to be drawn from the Smithsonian Institution. Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center will showcase artworks that reinvent and reconsider recognizable works of art and popular culture icons through a contemporary lens. We seek art that pushes beyond the derivative and creates something compelling, authentic, and telling of the world we live. MFA's Corporate Connections program launches an opportunity for artists to connect with professional developers, designers and more at this gala one-day event at the Peterson Headquarters building at National Harbor in Maryland. Juror: Robert W. Madden. Up to 20 of the 50 artists will be awarded purchase prizes selected by a panel of corporate designers who will present these works at the event. Entry is open to established and new member artists of MFA (Maryland Federation of Art). Entries of original 2-D or 3-D work may be submitted. 2020 Fine Art Challenge Competition & Show

The Wethersfield Academy for the Arts announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, Sept. 29 - Oct. 14, 2020 at Circa on Main, 225 Main St. in Wethersfield, CT. $5,000 in total awards. Jurors: Nora Howard and Peter Trippi. Artists are invited to submit up to 3 newly painted works with the Challenge theme of "A Sense of Place". The challenge is to paint an artwork that reflects a specific place in location, time, issues and signatures of that time. The interpretation can be in the form of a landscape, portraiture, still life, etc. Only original paintings. No giclee, canvas transfers, photography, videos, fiber art or computer generated images. North American Open Juried Exhibition

The New England Watercolor Society announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, November 1 - December 5, 2020 at the Plymouth Center for the Arts in Plymouth, MA. $10,000 in awards. Juror: Paul Jackson, AWS, NWS, MWC. Open to any artist age 18 and older residing in North America. All work must be painted with aqua media. These include watercolor, acrylic, casein, egg tempera, gouache and inks on unvarnished paper or synthetic paper such as Yupo. Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown, NJ seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, October 10 - November 22, 2020. Awards totaling $1,100. 1st Place $400, 2nd Place $350, Third Place $250, Honorable Mention $100. Juror: Henry Bermudez is an internationally known artist whose journey of unique geographical, artistic and human observation has taken him from educational experiences in small isolated communities in the Caribbean up to representing Venezuela in the Venice Biennial. 2020 National Juried Photography Exhibition

The Delaplaine Arts Center in Frederick, Maryland seeks entries for an upcoming photography exhibition, November 7-29, 2020. Awards: First- $1,000; Second- $500; Third- $250; Honorable Mention- $125. The RAA&M National 2020 Art Show

Rockport Art Association & Museum announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, December 5-31, 2020 at the Rockport Art Association & Museum in Rockport, Massachusetts. Over $5,000 in Prizes! Jurors: Cindy House for the category of Traditional art, and Professor Bruce Herman, Gordon College, in the category of Contemporary art. Submissions are limited to 3 artworks per artist in the following media: drawing, mixed media, collage, photography, painting, digital art and sculpture. 2021-2022 Studio and Curatorial Fellowships

NXTHVN in New Haven, CT seeks artists for its Studio and Curatorial Fellowships, June 2021 - May 2022. Generous stipend disbursed quarterly throughout the Fellowship year. Each fellow mentors a local high school apprentice, providing them with hands-on instruction in studio and curatorial practices. Through active participation in NXTHVN's year-long programs, early-career artists and curators make the personal strides and interpersonal connections that advance their careers. Applicants must be 21 years old by the start of the Fellowship and can not be enrolled in an academic program or other residency during the Fellowship year. Applicants are not required to hold an art degree or to have received any formal training. Studio Fellows are required to reside in New Haven for the duration of their Fellowship. Applicants may be based in the US or internationally. At this time NXTHVN does not cover travel or relocation costs. NXTHVN encourages and welcomes applicants of all backgrounds to apply for the Fellowships.
