Request for Qualifications: TEMPOart 2025 Project Commission

TEMPOart seeks artists, architects, designers, and landscape architects to design and realize a temporary outdoor public work of art. The installation will be located at the plaza of City Hall on Congress Street in Portland, ME. The maximum budget is $25,000 (inclusive of artist fees and any associated travel). We seek work that will be a catalyst for our mission to spark dialogue, build community, and inspire our collective imagination. Teams and Collectives are invited to apply but must identify a single person in the application who will represent the work of the group. There is no applcation fee. RFQ Deadline: June 16, 2024. Overlea ArtsFest, Inc. seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, August 9-31, 2024 at the Holt Park & Center for the Arts in Baltimore, MD. $100 and certificates for 1st place winners in each of 9 categories; certificates for 2nd & 3rd place winners. The Changing Americas

The Maryland Federation of Art seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, August 28 - September 21, 2024 at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, MD. Cash awards total $1000. Juror: Chan Chao. The Americas (North America, Hawaii, Central America, the Caribbean, and South America) are home to some of the world's most powerful and striking landscapes. Whether urban, rural, or suburban, landscapes are always changing - sometimes the changes are welcome, and others can lead to unintended consequences. Upstream Gallery in Hastings on Hudson, NY announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, July 25 - August 18, 2024. Drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture are all eligible for this juried show. Successful entries will demonstrate clear thematic relationships among two or more pieces. Photography is not eligible for this exhibition; we hold a separate show for photographic work. Maximum framed size may not exceed 30 x 40 inches. Accepted pieces must be properly wired or mounted for hanging. 3-D work must be ready for wall-mounting or have a base included. The Guild of Boston Artists announces a call to artists for the New England Regional Juried Exhibition, August 31 - September 28, 2024 in Boston, MA. $2,200 in awards and cash prizes. 2025 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals

The Rehoboth Art League announces a call to artists for 2025 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals. Open to members and non-members. This is a very competitive program as RAL can only accept a limited number of proposals each year. Artworks in any media will be reviewed. The RAL is situated in the town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, a highly traveled area not only by the residents of this and the expanding surrounding communities, but also by art patrons from the Washington DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York metropolitan areas. Over 29,000 people participate in Rehoboth Art League programs annually. Special exhibitions have played an important part of our programming since the league's beginning, in1938. Upstream Gallery Membership

Upstream Gallery in Hastings on Hudson, NY is currently welcoming membership applications from area artists. Submissions are reviewed each month. New members are voted into the gallery by a majority vote of the existing membership after an evaluation of work examined via the applicant's website and actual examples of art submitted for review. Member artists are expected to participate in the operation of the gallery, which includes working at the gallery one or two days a month, installing, or taking down shows, helping with our newsletter or numerous other tasks and responsibilities.
