Artists are invited to apply for the RiverArts Festival, held August 7, 2022, 12pm-6pm on the lawn at the Susanna Park Bandstand in New Richmond, Ohio. Multiple Cash Awards. West of Center: Art That Pushes Boundaries

The Northville Art House in Northville, Michigan seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, July 30 - August 20, 2022. Over $850 in awards. Juror: Sergio de Guisti - sculptor, exhibiting artist, and art history and studio instructor. In its 14th year, West of Center is about pushing beyond what is comfortable to create the unexpected. The center is safe and a repetition of the same formula over and over. This exhibition encourages artists, 18 and older and residing in the U.S., to think outside the box and push past boundaries of everyday creativity and personal comfort; use tools, processes, and skills in unconventional ways; take risks with style by experimenting with color, media, details (less/more), and technique (loose/tight; consider scale (painting larger), materials (upcycled objects), ideas (go farther), and subject matter (contemporary); release expectations, be playful, and have fun. Eastern Regional Exhibition of Traditional Oils

Oil Painters of America announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, October 6-24, 2022 at James R. Ross Fine Art in Indianapolis, IN. $11,500 in cash & merchandise. Juror: David Mueller OPAM. Oil paint on any primed, smooth, flat substrates including primed canvas or linen, stretched or on a panel, wood, gesso board, acrylic gessoed Dibond, aluminum, or aluminum composite panel. The Bradley International Print and Drawing Exhibition

Bradley University Galleries announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, February 3 - March 31, 2023. This year's exhibition will be held on campus at Bradley University at Heuser Art Gallery and Hartmann Center Gallery, as well as The Peoria Riverfront Museum and The Peoria Art Guild. Art in the Park 2022

The Freeport Art Museum announces a call to artists for Art in the Park, September 4, 2022. This fine arts festival is the perfect place for artists to showcase their work in the beautiful setting of Krape Park located in Freeport, IL. Held annually on the Sunday before Labor Day, Art in the Park is open to artists who create work in a variety of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery/ceramics, wood-working, glass, jewelry, printmaking, and photography. One of Freeport's most popular events, Art in the Park features a variety of activities throughout the park: fine art displays, performing arts, demonstrations of various art media, and children's hands-on activities. Mystery, Magic & the Macabre

The Bennett Prize

The Bennett Prize seeks to propel the careers of women figurative realist painters who have not yet realized full professional recognition, empowering new artists and those who have painted for many years. The Prize awards $50,000 to a woman artist to create her own solo exhibition of figurative realist paintings, which will travel the country. For the first time, a runner up award of $10,000 will be given to one additional finalist. Four-person jury: Julie Bell (artist), Zoey Frank (artist), Joseph Rosa (Frye Art Museum), & Steven Bennett (Prize co-founder).
