Metamorphosis: Emerging from the Dark

Brushwood Center in Riverwoods, IL invites artists of all levels to submit entries for our upcoming exhibition, June 8 - August 16, 2024. This exhibition is inspired by the extraordinary natural phenomenon of the brood X cicada emergence, and seeks to explore the themes of transformation, rebirth, and the journey from darkness to light. Artists may explore their own narratives of emerging from challenging times, overcoming obstacles, and embracing newfound light and possibilities. Whether it be personal growth, societal shifts, or the cyclical patterns observed in nature, we invite you to interpret the theme in your unique voice. All mediums are welcome, including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, video, and poetry. Evanston, IL -- Evanston Made presents the 3rd Annual Evanston Plein Air Festival: July 12-21, 2024. Call For 2024-25 Solo Exhibit Proposals [General + Photo]

The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists and designers to submit proposals for its upcoming season. $1,000 award. Two types of proposals are currently being accepted - A general solo proposal featuring work in any style, genre, subject, or media - and a lens-based proposal that should in some way utilize or refer to the photographic lens. The Bennett Prize 4.0 Call for Entries Now Open

Steven Alan Bennett and Dr. Elaine Melotti Schmidt, founders of The Bennett Collection, are pleased to announce a call for entries for The Bennett Prize, a biennial award that seeks to propel the careers of women figurative realist painters who have not yet realized full professional recognition, empowering new artists and those who have painted for many years. We're excited to share that we have an all women jury this year. 10 Finalists will participate in a traveling exhibition organized by the Muskegon Museum of Art.
