Artists are invited to submit entries for the Santorini Biennale, held June 1, 2019 - July 31, 2021 in 27 cities around the world. The artistic theme is "Neighbourhood." Eligible media: Painting, Illustration, Drawing, Graphic, Collage, Paper art, Sculpture & Installation Art, Virtual Art, Photographic Art, Sound, Video Art - Short Film, Literature, Poetry, Mixed art, Digital Art and any other form. All artworks must be new and never exhibited before. All artworks must be clearly labeled at the bottom of the back side: artist's name or artists' names if it is a group, year of production and artwork's title. 65€ - 95€ per submission. TAMBÚCA House of Art in Versilia announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, April 2019 at Viareggio in Tuscany, Italy. Awards: Painting decoration in the port of Viareggio, Free accommodation for a week, Group exhibition in historic villa, Paper and online catalogue. The competition is open to all artists, of all nationalities, from the age of 16 (the participation of under 18 artists is bound to the authorization of those who exercise parental authority). The competition is aimed at: Artistic High Schools and Fine Arts Academies of the national and international territory; Independent artists of any nationality and level. The fundamental criteria for selection will be quality, research, originality and contemporaneity, the creativity of the artwork proposed and consistency with the proposed theme. There will be no limitations of technique or style, as long as it's a work of painting as faithful as possible to the result of the realization on the sheet metal door. By pictorial work is meant any use or manual intervention with oil, tempera, acrylic, industrial paint, ink, engraving, graphite, watercolor, vinyl, on any type of substrate, even if pre-printed, provided that the elaborate must be reproduced in a faithful way with enamel brush on corrugated metal support. NTU Global Digital Art Prize 2019

Nanyang Technological University in Singapore seeks entries for a juried art competition. The prestigious NTU GDAP comprises a total of SGD$50,000 (USD 35,000) in prize money. Artwork must be related to the theme of NTU GDAP 2019: Fourth Industrial Revolution. Artwork can be in any medium, size, format, genre or approach and must engage digital media or processes in more than 50% of the work. Art Olympia 2019: International Open Art Competition

Artists are invited to submit entries for a juried art exhibition, on display June 8 to 16 and June 23 to 29, 2019 at the Toshima Ward Government Building, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Tokyo. The first place winner will receive $120,000 and 1,000 artists will be featured on the Art Olympia website as well as art magazines. Jurors: Brett Littman, Chu Teh-I, Florence Derieux, Emmanuelle Lequeux, Zheng Lin, Hiroshi Senju, Toyomi Hoshina, Yuko Hasegawa. YICCA 18/19 - International Contest of Contemporary Art

Aps MOHO announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, June 2019 at the Rizzuto Art Gallery in Palermo, Italy. 4000,00€ in awards. Open Call for Entries: Contemporary Miniprint of Kazanlak 2019

The Contemporary Miniprint of Kazanlak is an annual event open internationally to all artists over the age of 18, working in traditional printmaking techniques and/or working in experimental digital printmaking and mixed media techniques. The exhibition will be hosted June 1-30 at Art Gallery Kazanlak (Kazanlak) + July 1-15 in Sofia, Bulgaria. There are 2 joint First Prizes (Classical + Experimental) + up to 6 Honorary Mentions. All fine-art printmaking mediums and tendencies are acceptable, including relief, lithography, silkscreen, intaglio, monotype and original digital media.
