2021/2022 Artist in Residence Program at the Armory Art Center

The Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, FL invites artists to apply to the Armory's Artist-in-Residence Program. This highly competitive program attracts a diverse group of emerging artists within varied disciplines who have earned at least a BFA. Artists-in-Residence are responsible for teaching classes to our diverse student community where they have the opportunity to refine their skills teaching workshops and eight-week classes. They also participate in special events. The Armory provides a studio space which offers freedom to develop their work. Artists-in-Residence have the opportunity to exhibit work they have created during their residency. Photo21 Juried Photography Exhibit

The Berkeley Arts Council seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, June 3 - July 3, 2021 at Berkeley Art Works in Martinsburg, WV. Total prizes $1,000. Juror: Robert M. Hein. The exhibit is open to all artists throughout the continental United States, over the age of 18, working in any photographic medium or technique (digital, film, alternative, or antique photographic processes). The theme for the exhibit is open; 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional work where a photographic technique is used as the main medium. Work must be original, completed within the last three (3) years, and must not have been exhibited previously at the Berkeley Art Works. $35 for two works; $10 each for up to two additional works. Light: Juried Competition and Exhibition

The Dallas Center for Photography in Dallas, TX seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition. First place: $500; Second place: $350; Third place: $150. Juror: John Langmore. The very meaning of the word photography is "drawing with light." DCP invites you to submit images that highlight light. How does the selection, placement or quality of light help you tell a story or convey a mood to the viewer? We're looking for images that have light as a significant element in the image, as if the light itself is a subject in the composition. Selections will be featured in a virtual exhibition on the DCP website and in a gallery exhibit in June. We will be printing an exhibition book of all the selections that will be available for purchase. This competition is not open to DCP employees, instructors, board members, corporate sponsors and partner companies, or their immediate families. $35 allows you to submit 1-3 images. Call for Contemporary and Heritage Artisans for the 77th Waterford Fair

The 77th Annual Waterford Fair, the quintessential Fall festival with a juried artisan exhibition (demonstrations and retail sales), is held in the National Historic Landmark village of Waterford, VA the first weekend of October. Edition: A National Juried Exhibition of Photography and Printmaking

d'Art Center in Norfolk, Virginia seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, May 29 - June 20, 2021. $950 total in awards. Edition is an exhibition of photography and printmaking from across the country! Both printmaking and photography were developed with the same desire in mind: the desire to replicate reality with a permanent product, fill mass production needs and produce perfect editions. Over the years, people began to use both printmaking and photography for art. Artists developed many techniques and processes to manipulate photography and printmaking for their work, and today, many use digital methods as well. This exhibition will feature all forms of photography and printmaking including but not limited to: Photography that does or does not involve transforming or altering a photograph using either digital or physical methods, such as long or double exposures, compositing, or digital software. 2nd Biennial Bower Center Fiber Arts National Juried Exhibition

The Bower Center for the Arts in Bedford, VA seeks entries for a fiber arts exhibition, July 6 - August 21, 2021. 1st Place: $500, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $150, Award of Merit: $75. Juror: Paula Golden. Open to all artists over the age of 18. All entries must be original works created by the artists within the past 3 years. No reproductions. No work created in a class/workshop, or from a kit, or previously exhibited in a judged or juried exhibit at Bower Center. 2D art must be properly prepared to hang with a max size of 48" in either direction. There is space for free-standing sculpture that is broad-based and of varying heights. Art requiring pedestal bases should be no larger than 15"-20" at the base and limited to 3'-4' in height. Artist Residencies in Key West, FL

The Studios of Key West, the premiere arts organization at the Southernmost Point of the United States, offers a residency program for emerging and established artists and writers from around the world. We provide residencies to visual artists, writers, composers, musicians, media artists, performers, and interdisciplinary artists. The program grants nearly 35 artists each year the time and space to imagine new artistic work, engage in valuable dialogue and explore island connections. The Young Affiliates of the Mint, in collaboration with The Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC, seek entries for a juried art exhibition, March 25 - July 3, 2022. Awards: $10,000, $5,000, and $1,000 prizes; $200 stipend to participating artists. Jurors: Hallie Ringle, Lydia Thompson, and Ken West. The Associated Artists of Southport Present 2021 Regional Art Show
