7th Annual Edna Curry/John Bower Exhibition

Bower Center for the Arts in Bedford, VA announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, February 2 - March 13, 2021. Best in Show: $700 & solo exhibit; 2nd $400; 3rd $200; Minimum of 3 Awards of Merit: $75 each. Juror: Richard Pumphrey. Exploring Environmental Interdependence Through Public Art

Artists working in the design, construction and installation of outdoor sculpture are invited to submit an application for the third biennial Rosemary Beach Sculpture Exhibition, held May 31, 2021 - May 30, 2022 in Rosemary Beach, FL. $1,500 for all sculptors accepted. First and Second Place winning sculptures will be awarded $2,000 and $1,000 respectively. We encourage entries that reflect on our state of environmental interdependence and how concerted actions we take today can ensure a healthier population and planet for tomorrow. Throughout history, it is the artists who hold up the mirror to our humanity and reflect the world not only as it is, but as it could be. Amid this year of revelation and reevaluation of the state of our world, we look to the tender and concerned hands of the sculptor for expressions of hope and wisdom in the creation of a more sustainable world in order to protect our health and the health of our planet for generations to come. Mayfaire by-the-Lake

Begun as a crafts fair on the lawn of the Lakeland Public Library, Mayfaire by-the-Lake, coordinated by the Polk Museum of Art at Florida Southern College, has grown into one of Florida's premier outdoor art festivals. Held on Mother's Day weekend (May 8 & 9, 2021), Mayfaire is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Morton in downtown Lakeland, Florida. Mayfaire is one of the largest and oldest outdoor art festivals in Central Florida. $17,000 in awards. 2021 Texas & Neighbors Regional Art Competition

The Irving Art Association announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibit, May 15 - June 12, 2021 at the Irving Arts Center in Irving, TX. Awards: $10,000 - Artists may also earn signature status by exhibiting in five shows. Open to all artists 18 and older living in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. The Berkeley Arts Council seeks entries for a juried exhibit, April 22 - May 29, 2021 at Berkeley Art Works in Martinsburg, WV. Best in Show $500; Total Awards $1,000. A.I.R. Studio Paducah (Paducah, KY) invites artists to apply for residency. A.I.R. features a storefront multi-purpose display space for exhibitions or presentations during the residency.
