2023 Biennale

Art League of Hilton Head invites you to enter the 2023 Biennale, its 28th National Juried Exhibition. All accepted works of art selected by three jurors will be on display May 16 - June 17, 2023 at the Art League Gallery inside the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Over $5,000 in cash prizes will be awarded. The prestigious juror, Aline Ordman, will choose the prize winners. What I Would Have Missed: Suicide Prevention

What I Would Have Missed announces a call to artists for a traveling art exhibition. Works will be exhbited in September 2023 at the ArtsExchange in St Petersburg, Florida and then on to 4 other USA sites. $500 per each work selected, up to 30 works of art will be selected for the exhibition. Jurors: Julie Rocco, Caryn Nesmith, Dr. Elizabeth Hordge-Freeman, and Jonathan Garcia. The exhibit will feature art by individuals who have survived a suicide attempt or ideation. The work will capture the essence of both what the artist and the world would have missed had the artist died by suicide. 3rd Bower Center Biennial National Juried Fiber Arts Exhibition

Bower Center for the Arts in Bedford, VA announces a call to artists for a juried fiber arts exhibition, June 27 - August 19, 2023. 1st: $500 and solo exhibit, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $150. Award of Merit: $75. Juror: Elsabe Dixon. Open to all artists over the age of 18. All entries must be original works (no reproductions) and created within the past three years. This exhibit includes all forms of fiber art: functional, wearable, and fine art, original in concept and design, and must not have been created in a class/workshop, or from a kit, and not have been in a previous juried exhibit at Bower Center. Artsclamation! Fine Art Sale

Artists are invited to apply for the Artsclamation! Fine Art Sale, December 1-2, 2023 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Knoxville, TN. Artsclamation! is an indoor juried fine art sale featuring 35-40 professional artists displaying original works. Mediums include oil, pastel, watercolor, pen and ink, metal, wood, pottery, jewelry, photography, textiles and more. An inventory of 20-50 original pieces is suggested. The event begins on Friday, Dec. 1, with an invitation-only preview party. On Saturday, Dec. 2, the event is free and open to the public. Artsclamation! is the primary fundraiser for Peninsula, Covenant Health's not-for-profit behavioral health provider dedicated to offering mental health care to children, adolescents and adults in East Tennessee. The HMS Visiting Artists Fellowship

The Helen M. Salzberg Center for Visual Arts in Lake Worth Beach, FL seeks artists for the HMS Visiting Artists Fellowship, January 2024- November 2024. $6,000 endowment. Artists in any media or level of professional accomplishment may apply. Emphasis will be placed on their ability to provide mentorship opportunities for Palm Beach State College students.
