Celebrate Creativity Arts Festival

The Tifton Council for the Arts seeks artists for an arts festival to be held November 5th, 2022 at The Syd Blackmarr Arts Center in Tifton, Georgia. Prizes totaling $1,500 will be awarded in various categories. This is not a juried show, all qualified artwork will be accepted; a qualified judge will select the most creative & skilled work. Art should be appropriate for a family or community wide event. All work must be original and handmade by the artist. Absolutely no imports, kits, sip and paint, patterns, or reproductions. Acceptable media are paintings, drawings, photography, printmaking, jewelry (original, handcrafted) blown glass, sculpture, handmade paper weaving, baskets (no quilts, tatting, crochet, clothing or knitted items for this event). All work must be for sale. No commissions will be taken. All hanging artwork inside must fit on a portable Pro Panel 35" W X 71" H and be ready to hang by hook or wire. Fine Art Gallery Exhibit

Tranquility Fine Arts in Woodstock, GA announces a call to artists. Winners will be able to exhibit works in our Fine Arts Gallery (for exhibit and for sale purposes), and be promoted on our social media. International Winter Art Show

The DEGA International Art Association announces a call to artists for an international juried art competition & exhibition, November 17 - December 26 at Degallery in Bryan, Texas. Embracing Our Differences International Art Exhibit Celebrating Diversity

Embracing Our Differences invites you to participate in creating a society where diversity is embraced and individuality is celebrated. Submit your original art to our international outdoor juried art exhibit, held January 18 through May 29, 2023 at 3 locations in Sarasota and Manatee County, Florida. $6,000 total cash awards. Featuring 50 billboard-size images measuring 16 feet (5m) wide by 12.5 feet (4min) high, each work of art reflects the theme "enriching lives through diversity and inclusion." Materials Hard + Soft Contemporary Craft Competition & Exhibition

The Greater Denton Arts Council in Denton, Texas seeks entries for a juried exhibition, February 3 - May 6, 2023. $1,000 Best in Show, $300 Best in Media Category. Jurors: Kathy Brown, Harlan Butt, Brooks Oliver, Talor Roderick, Sam Slovak, James Thurman, Shannon Driscoll. Works produced in any of the craft media: clay, fiber, glass, metal, paper, wood, plastic or any combination of craft media, are acceptable. Decatur Artway - Sculpture Exhibition

The Decatur Arts Alliance seeks entries for an outdoor sculpture exhibition, held Oct. 2022 - Oct. 2024 city-wide in Decatur, GA. $2,000 honorarium. Artists are invited to submit sculptures that are professionally constructed of durable materials which will withstand the elements. Public Art Project at Sam's Crossing Retail/Restaurant District, Decatur, GA

The Decatur Arts Alliance, with the City of Decatur, seeks artists for acquisition of existing work at the new Sam's Crossing retail/residential district in Decatur, Georgia. The Decatur Arts Alliance is seeking three different sculptures, each to be installed at one of three specific sites. Total compensation for each work is determined by specific site. Site A: Up to $40,000; Site B: Up to $30,000; Site C: Up to $50,000. Sculpture artists can submit completed or in-progress work. Old Florida Celebration of the Arts in Cedar Key

Cedar Key Arts Center, Inc announces a call to artists for their annual juried fine art fair, April 1 & 2, 2023 at Historic 2nd Place in Cedar Key, FL. $15,000 in Prizes and Purchase Awards. All work must be the original design of the accepted artist. Artists must be present both days; no proctors allowed. A high proportion of original artwork is expected to be available in booths. Reproductions must be of the same artistic quality as juried work and can make up no more than 20% of the hung artwork. I Choose, Therefore I Am (online exhibition & gallery exhibition)

Textile and fiber artists worldwide are invited to contribute images of their work for a permanent online public exhibition project and catalog called I Choose, Therefore I Am. The project will help draw awareness to the recent events concerning women's rights. It will also give artists working in fiber and textile-based techniques a place to show their best work by expressing themselves through their perspective on how these changes affect their lives. A limited selection of works will be chosen to participate in a gallery exhibition from March 11 - April 30, 2023, in Houston, Texas. Artists can submit up to 3 works in 2D and 3D. The Guild of the Knoxville Museum of Art announces a call to artists for a plein air event, April 16-22, 2023 in Knoxville, TN. Up to $3,000 in awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and 2 honorable mentions. The Portrait Society of America invites artists to enter the 25th annual "The International" portrait competition, showcasing the finest in portraiture and figurative art today. The International is the world's premier portrait competition and is open to all artists. A variety of mediums is welcomed and encouraged. The top twenty finalists are required to exhibit their selected original artwork and be present at the prestigious The Art of the Portrait conference in Washington, DC, May 11-14, 2023 for final judging and awards.
