SAAC's Annual Juried Art Competition

Artists are invited to submit entries for the 2022 Annual Juried Art Competition, hosted July 6-29 at the South Arkansas Arts Center in El Dorado, AR. $2000 in cash prizes. Juror Taylor Jasper hails from The Momentary, a national destination for emerging contemporary artists, and sister institution to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, in Bentonville, AR. Open to US artists with artwork completed in the last five years. All 2D or 3D art; traditional and alternate media, as well as innovative and experimental approaches. $10 each entry. The d'Art Center in Norfolk, Virginia seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, July 2-30 2022. $950 in awards. The HMS Visiting Artists Fellowship

The HMS Visiting Artists Fellowship (January 2023-December 2023) at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth Beach, FL provides an endowment of $6,000 to one selected artist per year and facilitates exhibition and mentoring opportunities. Any living artist legally residing in Florida, working in any media or at any level of professional accomplishment, is eligible. The artist should be able to complete the required duties of the fellowship as described in the prospectus. Emphasis will be placed on their ability to provide mentorship opportunities for Palm Beach State College students. The selection committee is looking to provide students with direct, on-site professional experience and engagement and applicants with active studio and professional practices are preferred.
