Craft Hilton Head 2020

The Art League of Hilton Head announces a call to artists for a juried fine art craft exhibition, October 6-31, 2020 at Art League of Hilton Head's beautiful gallery located inside Arts Center of Coastal Carolina on Hilton Head Island, SC. Over $3,000 in cash prizes will be awarded. CraftHiltonHead2020, 7th National Juried Fine Art Craft Guild Exhibition, seeks 2D and 3D fine art craft entries that encompass exemplary creativity, experimentation, and imagination, showcasing what can be accomplished with few restrictions. Up to 90 works will be chosen by an esteemed juror based on artistic excellence, innovation, and originality. $35 for one entry, then $10 for each additional entry (limit 3 total entries). The 30th Best of America Exhibit 2020

The National Oil & Acrylic Painters' Society (NOAPS) announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, November 6-29, 2020 at Cutter & Cutter Fine Art in St. Augustine, Florida. Awards: $30,000 in cash and sponsor certificates. Best of Show $5,000 in cash. Juror: Mark Boedges. The 30th 'Best of America' is a top juried competition open to members of NOAPS. The 2020 annual membership can be paid when entering this exhibit. Artwork must be original two dimensional with mediums limited to oil and acrylic paints completed in the last three (3) years and not previously accepted in any other NOAPS Exhibit. Maximum size of the art excluding frame shall not exceed 1200 square inches. Each entry is reviewed and scored by an independent jury panel. Photographic call for entry "light"

Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme "light" to A Smith Gallery in Johnson City, TX. Fifty to fifty five images will be selected for exhibition and shown at the gallery October 2 - November 15, 2020. A Facebook Live reception will be held on October 31, 2020 at 4pm. A Blurb full color catalogue of the exhibit with all the accepted entries will be available for purchase. Awards are $325 for Juror's Award, $250 for Director's Award, three Juror Honorable Mentions each receiving an exhibition catalogue, discretionary Director Honorable Mentions each receiving an exhibition catalogue and $100 for Visitors' Award. Call for Entry - OPA Eastern Regional Exhibition

Oil Painters of America announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, November 20 - December 19, 2020 at Reinert Fine Art in Charleston, SC. $11,500 in awards. Juror: Kathie Odom, OPA. See prospectus for eligibility. Oil paintings must be created on one singular flat substrate and framed and wired for hanging. Multiples are unacceptable - i.e., diptychs, triptychs. Your submission must be originally conceived: your own reference, your own drawing, your own concept and must have been self-painted. Paintings created in an instructional setting, including but not limited to workshops and art classes are not considered original artwork. Paintings created in an open studio where artists share the model are acceptable provided there was no instruction being given of any kind. $30 for one entry, $45 for two, $60 for three. 8th International FL3TCH3R Exhibit - Socially & Politically Engaged Art

Create - Inspire - Connect

BIG ARTS in Sanibel, Florida announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, October 1 - November 1, 2020 in the Dunham Family Gallery. $1,050 in awards. This is an open-theme exhibition for artists working in painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, fiber, printmaking, etc. Artwork will be judged according to presentation, artistic merit, originality, and correlation to the exhibition. Artists may submit up to two works of original art not previously exhibited at BIG ARTS. 2D works may not exceed 42" in any direction, including framing, nor 50 pounds in weight and must be properly prepared for installation (see prospectus). 3D works may not exceed 60" in any direction nor weigh more than 150 lbs. A Smith Gallery in Johnson City, TX seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, November 6, 2020 to January 3, 2021. Thirty to thirty five images will be selected. Receptions will be held on November 28 and December 19, 2020. A Blurb full color catalogue of the exhibit with all the accepted entries will be available for purchase. $825 in awards. Materials Hard + Soft Contemporary Craft Competition + Exhibition

The Greater Denton Arts Council seeks entries for an upcoming exhibition, February 5 - May 8, 2021 at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center in Denton, TX. $2,500 in awards. Juror: Pablo Barrera. Works produced in any of the craft media: clay, fiber, glass, metal, paper, wood, or any combination of craft media, are acceptable. Entries must be the complete work of the submitting artist. Works can be a collaboration piece, but all collaborators must be listed on the entry form. Local, national, and international artists are encouraged to apply. Kits or commercially designed works will not be accepted. All work must have been completed within the past two years (2018-2020) and not previously exhibited at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center. All work must be ready for installation and weigh no more than 75 pounds. Early 2021 Art Show in Midland, Texas

The FaFa Gallery announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, Late January to Mid March 2021 at the Midland Community Theater in Midland, TX. Artist will be allowed to keep the frame after the show. Juror: Jeff Neely - Gallery Proprietor. Covid is only the first catalyst for a lot of changes occurring around us right now. This show is about surviving and finding hope and joy. I want the power of the art to make people happy and allow them an experience they will never forget.
