Magic Moments Art Submission

Seeking entries of 2D and 3D works for a juried art exhibition, March 8 - April 17, 2021 at The Art Center Cooperative in Jacksonville, FL and Online. 1st place, 2nd place and Honorable Mention Awards. Tribute: An Exhibition of Paintings that Pay Homage to People, Places, and Things

The d'Art Center in Norfolk, Virginia announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, April 9-25, 2021. Awards: 1st: $500, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $150. Juror: Ken Wright. Tribute is a national painting exhibition that is open to all artists living in the United States and working in 2D fine art and fine craft in all paint mediums. In theme and content, artworks should pay tribute to a person, place, or thing of great importance to the artist. The Tribute exhibition is in honor of Barbara Fulp. Barbra was a resident artist at d'Art Center who passed in 2019. She is greatly missed by all who knew her. The d'Art will also showcase the work of Barbara and Ken Fulp in its new solo gallery: The Vault. $35 for up to 3 works (one image per submission) $5 for additional submissions (max 10). Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation in Watkinsville, GA seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, April 16 - May 28, 2021. Best in Show: $500, 1st Place 2-D & 3-D: $250 each, People's Choice: $100. Juror: Jennifer Smith. Open to all United States residents ages 18 and older. All artwork must be original and created by the submitting artist. No prints of original artwork will be accepted. Work previously exhibited at SouthWorks or at any OCAF exhibition is not eligible. Artists may submit up to 3 artworks for consideration. OCAF strongly encourages artists to only submit artwork that is for sale. OCAF will only accept a total of 5-10 artworks (10%) that are not for sale into the final exhibition. WSA 80th Annual National Exhibition

The Watercolor Society of Alabama announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, June 6 - July 23, 2021 at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Approximately $10,000 in monetary and merchandise awards. Juror: Alexis Lavine. All entrants must be current 2021 members of the Watercolor Society of Alabama. Nonmembers may join WSA and enter the competition. Eligible paintings are limited to water-soluble media applied in an aqueous, watercolor manner. OPA Salon Show Call for Artists

Oil Painters of America seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, June 10 - August 7, 2021 at Quinlan Visual Arts Center in Gainesville, GA. $15,000 in cash & merchandise. Juror: Charles Young Walls OPA. Oil paints, alkyd resin, water soluble oils and oil sticks/bars are acceptable. Metal leaf (i.e: gold, silver, etc.) is acceptable if it does not comprise more than twenty percent (20%) of the visible surface. Flat substrates, including canvas board, Gesso board, Gesso Masonite board, acrylic Gessoed Dibond aluminum, aluminum composite panel and wood are acceptable. 9th Annual National Juried Exhibition

The Bower Center for the Arts in Bedford, VA seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, May 18 - June 30, 2021. Best in Show $750 & solo exhibit, 2nd $400, 3rd $200, and minimum of 3 Awards of Merit: $75 each. Juror: Ron Boehmer. This exhibition is open to all artists over the age of 18. All entries must be original works (no reproductions) and created by the artists within the past three years and not been in a previous juried exhibit at Bower Center. Works will be accepted in numerous media including, but not limited to painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, mixed media, photography, mosaics, sculpture, fabric, and glass (stained and fused). 2-D art must be in sturdy frames or gallery-wrapped and wired for hanging (no saw-tooth hangers or use of loops embedded in card-board backing). 2021/2022 Artist in Residence Program at the Armory Art Center

The Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, FL invites artists to apply to the Armory's Artist-in-Residence Program. This highly competitive program attracts a diverse group of emerging artists within varied disciplines who have earned at least a BFA. Artists-in-Residence are responsible for teaching classes to our diverse student community where they have the opportunity to refine their skills teaching workshops and eight-week classes. They also participate in special events. The Armory provides a studio space which offers freedom to develop their work. Artists-in-Residence have the opportunity to exhibit work they have created during their residency. 2nd Biennial Bower Center Fiber Arts National Juried Exhibition

The Bower Center for the Arts in Bedford, VA seeks entries for a fiber arts exhibition, July 6 - August 21, 2021. 1st Place: $500, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $150, Award of Merit: $75. Juror: Paula Golden. Open to all artists over the age of 18. All entries must be original works created by the artists within the past 3 years. No reproductions. No work created in a class/workshop, or from a kit, or previously exhibited in a judged or juried exhibit at Bower Center. 2D art must be properly prepared to hang with a max size of 48" in either direction. There is space for free-standing sculpture that is broad-based and of varying heights. Art requiring pedestal bases should be no larger than 15"-20" at the base and limited to 3'-4' in height.
