University of North Carolina Asheville announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, January 14 - February 11, 2022 at S. Tucker Cooke Gallery. $2000 cash awards and a purchase prize. Additionally a full-color catalogue will be produced. Juror: Catherine Murphy. In an effort to support the breadth in contemporary drawing, media is open to any traditional or experimental drawing media welcoming both two or three-dimensional works, video, and/or installation as long as it can fit through a doorway opening that measures 67" width x 117" height. $30 for one image, $5 for each additional image. Scene: An Exhibition of Artworks Inspired by Cities, Landmarks, and Places

The d'Art Center in Norfolk, VA seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, January 15 - February 13, 2022. Total awards: $1,050 (1st, 2nd, 3rd). Juror: Clayton Singleton. Scene is a national exhibition of unique 2D and 3D artworks that are inspired by Cities, Towns, Landmarks, and Places. What scene inspires your work? 8th Annual Edna Curry/John Bower Exhibition

Bower Center for the Arts in Bedford, VA seeks entries for a juried exhibition, February 1 - March 12, 2022. Adult Division - Best in Show: $650 & solo exhibit, 2nd: $350, 3rd: $200, 3 Awards of Merit: $75 each, 3 Recognitions for Body of Work. See prospectus for Youth Awards. Artists aged 13-17 may enter up to 2 artworks. Artists aged 18 and over may enter up to 3. All entries must be original works (no reproductions) created within the past three years and not been in a previous juried or judged exhibit at Bower Center. 2-D artwork must be secured in sturdy frames or gallery-wrap, and wired for hanging (no saw-tooth hangers or wired loops in cardboard). Max size for 2-D is 60" in either direction. There is limited space for free-standing sculpture that is broad-based and of varying heights, contact Bower Center to discuss your entry. The Rowlett Arts and Humanities Commission (Rowlett, TX) seeks to commission an original, exterior, site-specific art piece. The art must be imaginative, durable, and require minimal maintenance. It should reflect the scale of the building and not overpower it, complementing the natural architecture and open spaces of the area. The design should be representational in nature. Alchemy6

The Enamelist Society seeks entries for Alchemy6, a juried enamel exhibition. Alchemy6 is the 18th Biennial International Juried Enamel Exhibition and 14th International Juried Student Enamel Exhibition and will be installed at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts during The Enamelist Society's Biennial Conference in August 2022. This exhibition will travel to other venues, ending at the Ohio Craft Museum through April 2023. Works are required to remain a part of the exhibition until its conclusion. The Exhibitions highlight the best in contemporary enamels produced in the last 2 years, showcasing the work of enamelists that demonstrate aesthetic and technical expertise. Students must be enrolled in accredited degree programs throughout the world. Jan Smith, Ana Lopez, and Amy Roper Lyons are the jurors for this exhibition. Monetary awards will be given to the overall winner, first and second place in each category (jewelry, sculpture/vessel, and wall work), and student winners.
