Ages 16+. Level: Intermediate/Basic familiarity with cyanotypes required. This workshop is for folks who have dabbled with cyanotypes and want to explore beyond the basics. We will have both instruction and lots of time for hands-on exploration including wet cyanotypes and double exposures. Pre-treated fabric, paper and coffee filters will be used to create single and dual sided imagery, using a variety of materials for inspiration including leaves, flowers, stencils and more.

Ages: 15+. In this 4-hour workshop, we will practice a variety of different techniques for painting trees. We will look at how to paint clumps of trees far away, how to paint medium detailed trees a bit closer, and how to paint bark up close. We will also look at painting different types of trees including hardwoods, birch, and pine trees. This class will be a workshop model- we will learn and practice these techniques so that you can test them out in your landscape paintings at home. I do suggest having a basic understanding of watercolors before taking this class.
