Katie has designed this workshop for both the beginner and experienced pastel artist. It is always valuable to revisit the basics - materials, value and color, pastel techniques (including strokes) and composition. In addition, each student will express their personal challenges in their work - "Why wasn't this piece successful?" Katie and the class will offer insight and suggestions on how a particular piece may be improved. As always, Katie will be very hands-on with each student. If you are new to pastel, please contact Katie when you register and she will meet with you before class to give you some basics of pastel. See website for supply list.
