Acrylic Pour Painting is an exciting and innovative way to make beautiful abstract images. Learn techniques, tips and tricks to create amazing, unique pieces. In this class you will create a painting of cherry blossoms. We will use a variety of techniques, such as blowing, swiping, and balloon press. All levels welcome. No prior experience necessary. Please wear clothing that can get stained. We will provide aprons. It might be best to tie back your hair and leave jewelry at home! All materials will be supplied for a $20 fee.

Students will paint along wth the Instructor step-by-step using colorful acrylic paints. Techniques will be taught using paint brush strokes, lines and shading. Students may partake in a BYOB beverage of choice to enjoy while painting. Relax and have fun making a folk art painting inspired by Artist Mary Maguire.

Join Joan with some friends for a fun evening of painting! Bring your adult beverages and some snacks. This is a beginner's class that will provide step by step instructions using acrylic paints. Students will work with the instructor to complete one painting during the workshop. The instructor will teach techniques using paint brush strokes, line, form and blending applications. Relax and have fun making folk art inspired by Mary Maquire. All supplies are included in the cost of tuition. (Students may bring their own brushes if they prefer.)
