Bring your adult beverages and some snacks and get ready for a fun evening paint night! This is a beginner's class that will provide step by step instructions using colorful acrylic paints. Techniques will be taught using brush strokes, line, form and blending applications. All supplies, including paint, canvases and paint brushes are included in the cost of tuition. (Students may bring their own brushes, one round and one flat if they prefer.)

The painting process is achieved by layering various methods and using different techniques and tools. Pouring is a great way to create interesting texture, patterns, and marbleized effects. I will take you through the process of mixing acrylic paints to pour and the appropriate consistency for different types of pour painting. Experiment with pearlized, iridescent, metallic, and neon paints. Each class a new technique is taught resulting in unique, exciting abstract paintings. In this class we will create jellyfish using straws and string/beads to create these colorful creatures. You will customize your painting along the way by choosing your color palette, design and personal touches.
