This workshop will challenge individuals with an in depth experience in collage making. Lectures, demonstrations and hands-on experiences will provide workshop participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to select, format and create collage materials reflecting personal expression. The arrangement of line, shape, color, texture, value and spatial relationships will be the workshop focus. Those who are design-oriented and wish to gain a deeper understanding of pure form will be particularly rewarded. Beginning collage makers, as well as seasoned artists, will be equally comfortable and challenged in this workshop. The instructor will work with individuals at their own level of development and encourage everyone in attendance to explore personal thinking styles that will enable each participant to reach their full potential.
