Sheets: A National Exhibition of Paper Arts

The d'Art Center in Norfolk, VA announces a call to artists for an upcoming exhibition, June 15 - July 13, 2019. Awards for 1st: $500, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $150. Juror: Clay McGlamory. Sheets is a national juried exhibition that features paper arts. This exhibition is open to all 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine paper crafts that may also incorporate any additional medium, as long as the finished piece is composed of at least 60% in paper elements (this may include, but is not limited to book arts, collage, sculpture, assemblage, and 2D mixed media). American Impressionist Society 20th Annual National Juried Exhibition

American Impressionist Society Inc. announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, September 19 - October 2, 2019 at Salmagundi Club in New York, New York. Over $70,000 in cash and merchandise awards including $12,000 cash for Best of Show. Juror: Kevin Macpherson, AISM. Oil, pastel, acrylic, gouache, watercolor accepted. No mixed media, photography, digital or any other media. No digitally manipulated work, painted giclee prints or any other type of reproductions, no manipulated or painted over photos. Maximum size (excluding frame) is 900 square inches, with the maximum length on the longest side of 30 inches (example: 30x30=900). Maximum frame width 4 inches. Work must be original in concept and execution, impressionistic in style, must have been completed within the last three years. Kellogg University Art Gallery of CalPoly University in Pomona, CA seeks entries for Ink & Clay, August 22 - November 21, 2019. $6,500 in Monetary Awards, plus various Honorable Mentions. Jurors: Kimiko Miyoshi, Printmaking/Ink Juror, Susan Elizalde-Henson, Ceramics/Clay Juror, and Juri Koll, Curatorial Juror. This is an annual juried competition of printmaking, ink drawing, ceramic ware, clay sculpture, mixed media and installation, utilizing any variety of "ink" or "clay" (or combination). Solo, Group & Concept Submissions (Season 16: 2019/2020)

Manifest in Cincinnati, OH is happy to receive proposals of various types and accepts these on an ongoing basis starting usually in late winter, reviewing them starting in early June in consideration for the upcoming exhibit season. No notifications are made until the final season schedule is decided (usually by the end of July). Anyone can submit a proposal, and selections are open to all traditional and non-traditional genre and media. On average, one-third of Manifest's exhibits are dedicated to solo exhibits. Solo exhibitors have included local, regional, and national artists from as far away as New York City, San Francisco, Canada, and Hong Kong. The Young Affiliates, in collaboration with The Mint Museum, will host their fourth annual art show, "Coined in the South", at the museum's uptown location, October 11, 2019 - February 16, 2020 in Charlotte, NC. $15,000 in awards ($10,000 Jurors' Award; $5,000 YAM Member Favorite). Jurors: Marilyn Zapf, Adam N. Justice, & Jonell Logan. Open to both emerging and established artists who are either from, or currently working in, the Southeast. Call for Artists to Illuminate Taos Water Networks

The PASEO 2019 Water/Culture call is seeking artists to bring visibility to Northern New Mexico's water culture and issues. Working with artists we wish to create more inclusive and imaginative planning processes, while seeking to provide benefits to the community through artistic installations and designs and educational opportunities. We are seeking proposals for installations to creatively expand public knowledge and appreciation of the acequia networks downtown. Selected art activations will vary in media, scale and programming. Stipends up to $5,000. The goal is to highlight the acequia network for the benefit of the local community and wider audience of visitors traversing the downtown. Lacawac Artists' Residencies 2019

Lacawac Sanctuary and Field Station is a nature preserve, biological field station, and environmental education center located near Lake Ariel, PA in the Pocono Mountains. Each year professional or aspiring artists are selected to spend time at Lacawac Sanctuary for either one or two weeks. During the residencies, artists are free to produce their artwork using the inspiration of the beauty that is Lacawac. Housing and limited studio space is provided. Artists are provided: a comfortable, rustic room in the Historic Watres Lodge or the Ice House; access to 545 acres which includes a glacial lake, 2 ponds, shore access to Lake Wallenpaupack, ledges natural area, and forests; interaction with scientists conducting research at Lacawac (May thru early August). $10 application fee.
