apexart in New York, NY seeks proposals from artists, curators, and other professionals for group exhibitions. $10,000 Exhibition budget and support from apexart staff. Proposals of up to 500 words must be curatorial in nature, describing focused, idea-driven, original group exhibitions. SELECTS 2026 Juried Exhibition
First Street Gallery in New York, NY seeks entries for a juried art exhibition, January 8-30, 2026. Juror: Jill Sarver Rossi. Open to U.S. resident artists, 18 years and older. Artists currently represented by the Gallery and exhibitors in the Gallery's "SELECTS 2024" and "SELECTS 2025" exhibitions are not eligible to apply. Eligible works include original oils, acrylics, watercolors, gouache, pastels, drawings, prints, mixed media, photography, and sculpture in any material. 2D work must be wired and ready for hanging. D-rings should be used for heavy works. 2D works on paper do not have to be framed under Plexiglass or glass but must have the proper hanging hardware for installation. Sculptors are urged to provide their own pedestals. (The gallery has a limited number for small sculptures.) 2D and 3D works: Maximum weight 30 lbs. $55 for a required submission of five works.
