14th Annual BAAC National Juried Exhibition

The Batesville Area Arts Council announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, April 28 - June 12, 2026 at BAAC Gallery on Main in Batesville, AR. 1st Place - $500 and solo exhibition, 2nd Place - $300, 3rd Place - $200, Purchase Prize - $500. Juror: Veronica Inberg. The exhibition is open to all U.S. artists 18 and older working in 2D and 3D media. Entries must be original works created within the last 5 years, and not previously exhibited at the BAAC Gallery on Main. $30 ($25 for BAAC Members) for up to 3 entries, $5 each for up to 2 additional entries. Tri-State Watercolor Show (FL, GA, AL)

The Tallahassee Watercolor Society is proud to call for submissions for the 38th Annual Tri-State Watercolor Exhibition to be held at the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts May 28- July 27, 2026. 10 awards will be given (a combination of cash, gift certificates, and merchandise). Hilton Head Island Plein Air Paint Out

Capture the beauty of the Lowcountry during Art League's first Hilton Head Island Plein Air Paint Out, taking place April 9-10, 2026. This two-day outdoor painting event offers participants the opportunity to paint en plein air at stunning locations throughout Hilton Head Island, celebrating the region's natural landscapes, coastal light, and distinctive sense of place. The Paint Out will be judged by acclaimed artist Catherine Hillis, with a $1,000 first-place prize ($2500+ in total awards). Registration is $75 (or $50 for Art League members). Artists are invited to present up to two finished works at Art League Gallery for our Wet Paint Gallery public display (paintings must be delivered no later than 2 PM on Friday, April 10). Artists may also choose to extend the experience by participating in a lively Quick Draw competition at Shelter Cove Marina on April 11, a fast-paced, crowd-favorite event available as an optional $25 add-on. Metro Montage XXVI Juried Exhibition

The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, July 11 - September 13, 2026 in Marietta, GA. First Place: $750, Second Place: $500, Third Place: $250. Juried by Madeline Beck (Curator of MCMA) and an anonymous panel of jurors. Eligible media includes, but is not limited to, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, ink, pencil, mixed media, collage, printmaking, photography (limited edition), sculpture, pottery, mosaic, and fiber. Giclées and video/sound art are not eligible. Installations must be approved prior to submission deadline. Entries must be original artwork completed within the last ten years, and not previously shown at MCMA. Submitted artwork (including framing) may not exceed 80 inches. Art Center of Corpus Christi: South TX and National Artist-in-Residence

The Art Center of Corpus Christi (ACCC) is taking applications for an Artist-in-Residence Program offered in collaboration with Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi's Center for Coastal Studies (CCS). The program runs for 2 weeks, including a 5-day stay at the Laguna Madre Field Station (LMFS), an off-grid research station built on an island in the Laguna Madre. For a 1-week period following the stay at LMFS, ACCC will provide the artist with dedicated time and space to create art inspired by the unique ecosystems of the Laguna Madre. Works will be exhibited in a solo exhibition at ACCC where the resident will give a brief presentation. The artist will also complete marketing opportunities including, but not limited to, radio interviews, TV interviews, and social media marketing. This residency includes a $2,000 stipend for the regional (South Texas) artist and a $4,000 stipend for the national/international artist.
