Lauren combines 19th century style fairy paintings with naturalistic/botanical watercolors in her own illustrated children’s books such as in her retelling of Thumbelina and her book Fairy Wings. In this five-day retreat, students will learn how to create graduations of blue from light to dark, and do a deep dive into shibori exploration.
