Join me for a five day long workshop in the vibrant town of Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. This immersive five-day workshop explores the dynamic possibilities of cold wax and oil through composition, structure, and surface. Working from intuition and observation, we will investigate the tension between geometric and organic forms, large and small shape relationships, edge, line, and spatial movement. Through demonstrations, individual feedback, and daily studio practice, participants will develop paintings that feel both intentional and alive. The following materials are provided: Cold Wax Medium, acrylic gel, newsprint, tissue paper, a variety of tools, paper towels and vegetable oil for cleaning tools. This class is open to beginners and/or advanced artists. All are welcome!
