Celebrate the fall season with a three-day immersive workshop focused on cold wax and oil painting. Whether you’re new to the medium or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop welcomes artists of all skill levels. With a balance of guided instruction and personal exploration, you’ll have the opportunity to grow at your own pace. We’ll dive into a variety of techniques including layering, working with contrast, veils of color, brayer and transfer techniques, mark-making, masking, stenciling, compression, and blotting. Discussions on composition, color theory, and editing will support you in creating stronger, more personal work. All levels welcome. Cost: $850 (includes all meals) $450 deposit due at registration

In this 2 hour class, we’ll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you’ll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (we’ll even provide the apron).
