It's beginning to look a lot like the Holidays! Join us for an afternoon of clay together with your child to create a Holiday Coil Tree with a star (or anything you want) on top. Learn the basics of working with kiln-fired clay and colorful glazes while you make one tree together with your child. If you each want to create your own Holiday Coil Tree, please register yourself and each child separately. All works created will be fired and ready for pick up approximately two weeks from the date of the workshop.

Join us for a fun-filled day of seasonal crafting! Register your child for each craft you choose or save by registering for all 6 workshops together! All projects are on-going throughout the 2-hour workshop event. Each craft station takes approximately 20-25 minutes and costs $9-$12 each or $55 for all 6 projects! Children create at their own pace and can start at any craft table they choose. Projects include: Mini Tree Decorating, Painted Ceramic Ornaments, Merry Little Elf, Graham Cracker Mini House, Winter Gnome, and Delicious Chocolate on-a-Spoon. Come learn the ancient art of Quilling and discover why this fun art is becoming so popular! Quilling is the art of rolling or coiling thin paper strips using a special tool to create shapes that you combine together to make your creation. Quilling is an art in itself, or it can be used to decorate greeting cards, picture frames, boxes, and more. Join us for a fun afternoon with your child and learn a new creative outlet. Gum drops, sprinkles and frosting--oh my! Join us for a classic holiday workshop: Decorating Gingerbread Houses. Each parent-child team will receive their own cookie cottage, pre-assembled and ready to decorate! Royal icing and lots of extra candies will be provided to create a one-of-a-kind edible, holiday treasure. At the end of each 2-hour workshop, Chef Birgit Raders-Eichinger will judge and award certificates for "most creative," "most patient," "most innovative" and more. Space is limited and all materials are provided. But feel free to bring additional decorations from home to make your Gingerbread House uniquely yours.

Join your child on a nurturing creative quest. Whether your child has already begun to show an interest in art or you are looking to introduce them to new media in a structured yet nurturing environment, this class allows even the youngest students to discover their creative side. Students work with air-dry clay, collage, paint, chalk and more. Our early childhood teachers encourage students to talk about their art, providing a great opportunity to learn new vocabulary, particularly words related to colors, shapes, textures, and emotions. Children learn to follow directions in a social setting with support and encouragement of their caregiver, serving as the perfect precursor to preschool. This is a 10-week, 1 hour class.

This class will nurture the innate curiosity of your young artist that helps them to develop an understanding of their world. While exploring their creativity through a variety of art mediums, your child will benefit from all that early childhood art education offers, including fine motor skill refinement, cognitive development, math and language skills, and of course, the joy of making art. In this class, children learn "to see" differences in art. Exploration of bright vs. light, colors, line differences: straight/curved, short/long and thick/thin and include them in their artwork. Employing a wide range of mediums, including drawing and painting, printmaking and mixed media, kids and parents can have a lot of fun! This is a 10-week, 1.5 hour class.
