Join local mosaics artist Ryan McGivern for this exciting half-day workshop perfect for students of any level! Students will make their very own mosaic turtle mixed media, glass and found objects. Ryan will show you how to design & execute the creation of their own personal piece! All of the materials you end for this workshop are included in the price. Just bring yourself. We recommend wearing pants, long sleeves and close toed shoes to this class for safety reasons. The instructor will grout the works and have them ready for pick up the following week, on Friday, August 1, 2025 (10am to 2pm).

Washi Tape is a not-very-sticky masking tape made from rice paper. It comes in rolls of solid colors, as well as patterns, and provides adherence to a variety of surfaces. This course is taught by local artist Joan Moreau McKeever, who is here to teach you how to create your very own sea turtle painting using washi tape!
