This is a fun, creative experience using your own Painted Papers from my class, purchased paper from the art store, tissue paper, old book pages, sheet music, junk mail, etc. Each session offers new opportunities to explore techniques, experiment with different materials, and expand your creative toolkit. Create a vibrant still life in this guided acrylic painting workshop featuring a luminous cobalt blue bottle, fresh pink roses, delicate white blossoms, and a bright yellow lemon. Students will focus on loose, confident brushwork while learning how to suggest petals and foliage with bold color placement, capture reflected light, and create the illusion of water inside the bottle. This class encourages expressive painting rather than strict detail, making it welcoming for both beginners and more experienced artists. By the end of the session, each participant will complete a colorful 10” x 20” still life painting. All materials are provided, including a template to ensure accurate bottle proportions.
