Have you ever struggled to start a realistic painting and wondered how to begin? Ms. Littleton will demystify the process of how to select an appropriate image, a good composition, techniques to start the drawing, what to include & exclude, highlight and shadow considerations & how to approach details. Through discussion, exemplars and demonstration, Ms. Littleton will reveal steps she follows to create a detailed preliminary drawing that leads to a successful realistic painting. Students can participate in-person or online & may use their own supplies. Supplies can be provided for a nominal fee. Beginners encouraged, all levels welcomed. Free parking. J. M.
