Workshop Highlights:
Over the course of this three-day watercolor workshop, students will explore and master key techniques to capture the enchanting essence of California’s coastal landscapes and traditional architecture. Participants can expect to create one painting per day while learning: Selecting and Approaching a Subject; Sketching Techniques; Mixing Sublime Washes; Dynamic Watercolor Application; Painting Coastal Rocks; Creating Depth.
Each day of the workshop will focus on a specific aspect of the landscape, from atmospheric perspective to textural details. By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained a deeper appreciation of California’s romantic light and refined their watercolor skills to reflect its beauty.
