In this workshop, fresh flowers will inspire each student at the studio right from the start. Janet will lead various fun exercises designed to help you interpret flowers in a loose and expressive manner. You will discover the unique nature of individual flowers and experiment with finding new colors. Throughout the workshop, Janet will provide demonstrations and individual assistance, emphasizing the importance of letting the watercolor medium guide you to new creative adventures. This "Plein Air" experience, held in the studio, will cover goals such as preserving the white of the paper, avoiding muddy colors, using intuitive color choices, and developing strong compositions.
