For centuries, the magical light of the Low Countries has captivated Dutch painters—the endless skies, shifting clouds, quiet waterways, and ever-changing atmosphere. Join me this June–July for a unique painting retreat in Zwolle and the beautiful landscapes of Overijssel. We’ll paint historic streets, peaceful waterways, and dramatic Dutch skies, while also exploring other creative techniques: painting on ceramics, a monotype workshop, and drawing a live model at the local artists’ club. You’ll stay in a 4-star hotel in the heart of Zwolle, just steps from the charming historic city centre. My atelier, nearby, will be our creative home for gathering, working, sharing, and reflecting. I’ll personally guide you throughout this special week of painting, creativity, friendship, and summer light.
